Cut out two types of fabric according to the measurements of the window, taking into account allowances of 2-3 cm for the hem along the entire perimeter. In this case, the length of the curtain is selected to the window sill or to the floor, and to the width of the window opening, it is necessary to add an assembly margin, which depends on the splendor of the folds (usually 1.5-2 lengths).
Process the side edges with seams, having previously marked the hem by hand or by ironing it with a hot iron.
Join the two sheets with a seam.
Make a double hem at the top and bottom. Stitch.
From the wrong side on the top of each curtain, sew a curtain tape, tighten the cords, forming folds, and align the curtain along the length of the curtain rod.
