Devices Apr Apr. Recirculation dust collectors apr, aprk Overall and connecting dimensions

Recirculating dust collecting units APR, APRK designed for suction and purification of air from dry non-sticking fine abrasive dust during metalworking of products on tool-grinding, grinding and metal-cutting machines.

The dust collecting apparatus consists of a housing, a built-in cyclone element for separating large fractions of dust, a dust collector, a centrifugal fan with profiled blades installed inside the housing, a built-in silencer and a filter stage.

The following can be installed on the dust collector as a filter stage:

  • filter bag from imported needle-punched calendered material based on polyester fibers, in this case, the models of the units are designated APR-1200 and APR-1600;
  • cassette from filter paper (cellulose) of cleaning class F9 (dust cleaning efficiency ≤ 3 microns - 99%) or a polyester cassette of cleaning class M6 (dust cleaning efficiency ≤ 5 microns - 93%), in this case the unit models are designated APRK-1200 and APRK-1600.

Filter bag machines have a relatively small filter surface and therefore a low dust capacity.

Currently, the production of APR industrial vacuum cleaners with a filter bag is temporarily suspended and only APR devices with a filter cassette are produced.

Due to the developed filtration surface, devices with a cassette have a significantly higher dust capacity, which makes it possible to ensure long-term operation of the device without a significant decrease in productivity. On dust collectors with a filter cassette, the residual dust concentration, as a rule, does not exceed 0.5 mg/m 3 .

Dust collecting units APR are installed in the immediate vicinity of the machines, while providing a suction speed in the suction of up to 22 m/s. Ideal for equipment with a small load factor of 0.1/0.2. Several local suctions can be connected to one device.

An example of the operation of the dust collecting unit APRK-1200 with a metalworking machine at the site of one of our customers is shown in the photo on the left.

Regeneration. APRK devices are manufactured only in the version with manual regeneration (cleaning). To clean (regenerate) the cassette, it is necessary to remove it from the device, clean the inner surface with a soft long-haired brush and thoroughly shake out the cassette, then blow it with compressed air from outside to inside.
