Center drills for CNC machines. Drills are cup and filler. Extra short and short drills

Today, the requirements for the accuracy of printed circuit boards have increased significantly. Accordingly, the quality of the holes made should also be higher, and this largely depends on the choice of tools used in production.

Defects often occur when processing printed circuit boards with unreliable drills. Moreover, inaccuracies are noticeable only at the final stages of production. Therefore, it is very important to use a high quality PCB drill.

The company "IRLEN-ENGINEERING" offers drills for CNC machines used for drilling holes of various diameters and depths in products made of metals and their alloys. This tool is designed for industrial use in metalworking industries. Drills for machine tools are made from high quality raw materials with the addition of special components that increase their strength and resistance to abrasion. The products retain the sharpness of the cutting edge for many drilling cycles.

Range of drills for machine tools

This section of the catalog contains several types of drills for CNC machines, sorted into categories. For each type of product, a corresponding marking table is given, which indicates their main parameters and scope. You can purchase drills in the following categories:

  • centering;
  • ultrashort;
  • short;
  • long;
  • extra long.

Each of the above categories includes CNC drills, which can be selected in a certain range of diameters, as well as depending on the material being processed.

Center drills

This section offers fine carbide drills with sharpening angles from 90 to 120 degrees. Such a tool is used to prepare a tapered groove before drilling a hole of a certain depth. Preliminary processing of the desired point with a center drill improves the positioning accuracy of the main cutting tool. Due to this, a longer drill will pass into the metal along the desired axis, without deviating from the calculated entry point due to vibrations and other factors.

The centering tool in the catalog is universal and suitable for machining all common metals and alloys used in modern industry. Depending on the production process, center drills for CNC machines can be purchased with a diameter of 1 to 30 millimeters.

Extra short and short drills

Ultra short drills for metalworking are tools up to three diameters long. The catalog contains tools for processing steel, non-ferrous metals and various alloys. Depending on the series, these drills are offered with a diameter of 1 to 20 millimeters. The tool is mainly used for drilling blind holes for subsequent threading for fasteners.

Short metal drills for machine tools can be used for drilling blind as well as through holes in workpieces of small thickness. The length range of short drills is from three to eight diameters. Depending on the material being processed, you can choose a tool with a diameter of 1 to 60 millimeters.

Long and extra long drills

This category of drills for CNC machines is used for making through holes in products from various metals and their alloys. Long and extra long drills are available in diameters from 1 to 30 millimeters and lengths from 8 to 30D. In the catalog you can find the detailed characteristics of each series of tools.

Woodworking is a delicate matter, it requires precision, accuracy and a good, high-quality tool. It is about the tool for woodworking that will be discussed in this article, or more precisely, about cup drills. What is this tool and what is it for? Let's take a closer look.

What is a cup drill and what is it for?

The presented tool is designed to create a blind, shallow hole, usually for furniture fittings. With the help of a cup drill for wood, you can easily make fast and high-quality fitting recesses with even walls without chips and defects.

The drills that you can find in our catalog can be used to process different types of wood, both soft and hard. They are also suitable for working with plywood, chipboard and fiberboard.

Catalog of cup drills from "MnogofrezRF"

In the catalog of our store there are drills for woodworking machines of different sizes and diameters, with their help you can make recesses ranging in size from 12 to 45 millimeters.

Depending on this, you can select the drill you need or, for example, buy a set so that you always have a tool of a different caliber at hand. The larger the diameter of the product, the higher the price of a wood drill, respectively.

Advantages and characteristics of drills presented by us

All presented tools are of fairly high quality, they are reliable and durable. The use of such equipment at times increases the productivity and efficiency of labor.

The drill bits for CNC wood we offer are made from high-quality, durable and safe materials, so our consumables are able to work effectively for quite a long time.

A wide range of products makes it possible to choose the right tool for your machine and needs.

4.4. Cutting tools and fixtures for CNC drilling and boring machines. Drills for CNC machines.

Cutting tool. On CNC drilling and boring machines, various types of cutting tools are used: drills, countersinks, reamers, taps, countersinks, boring bars, etc. Depending on the material of the cutting part, all these tools are divided into high-speed and carbide, depending on the design - into solid and prefabricated, depending on the operations performed - into conventional and combined.

Spiral high speed drills may have a cylindrical or tapered shank. Spiral high-speed drills with a cylindrical shank are available in short (GOST 4010-77), medium (GOST 10902-77) and long (GOST 886-77). Moreover, all these drills come with a leash and without a leash. Spiral high-speed drills with a tapered shank are produced in ultra-short (GOST 10903-77) and elongated (GOST 2092-77). Spiral high-speed drills with a cylindrical shank are designed for drilling holes with a diameter of 1 to 20 mm, and with a conical shank - over 5 mm.

Prefabricated pocket drills most effective when drilling holes with a diameter of more than 25-30 mm. Compared to standard twist drills, they have a number of advantages, the main of which is the lower operating cost per unit of hole length. This is achieved through the use of replaceable cutting blades, which can dramatically reduce the consumption of high speed steel.

Rice. 4.8. The design of the prefabricated feather drill.

Unified prefabricated spade drill(Fig. 4.8) consists of three elements: a replaceable cutting blade knife 1, a holder 2 and a fixing screw 3. Several types of knives are used in such drills: for drilling, for boring and countersinking, for centering and chamfering. The shank is available with internal coolant, cylindrical adjustable shank and 7/24 taper.

Spiral Combination Step Drills used for threaded holes. The use of such drills on CNC machines ensures the combination of drilling and reaming, and in some cases the elimination of preliminary centering, which reduces the loss of time for auxiliary movements of the working bodies of the machine and tool change. Two types of drills are commercially available - for drilling holes for threads from M6 to M27 and chamfering (Fig. 4.9, a) and for drilling through holes for threads from M5 to M24 and drilling for screw heads (Fig. 4.9, b).

Rice. 4.9. Types of Twist Combination Step Drills:

a - for drilling holes for threads from M6 to M27 and chamfering; b - for drilling through holes for threads from M5 to M24 and drilling for screw heads.

Centering drills are available in two types: combined (Fig. 4.10, a) and feather (Fig. 4.10, b). They are subject to high requirements: for example, the runout of the cutting edges relative to the body axis should not exceed 0.02 mm for drills with a diameter of up to 3 mm and 0.03 mm for drills with a diameter of more than 3 mm.

Rice. 4.10. Types of center drills for centering holes:

a - combined; b - feather.
